These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of ResumeCore, operated by ResumeCore ("we", "us", "our"), available at resumecore.in. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The Service

ResumeCore is an AI-powered platform that helps job seekers improve their resumes. It provides a Resume Analyzer and a JD Match tool that use AI to generate feedback and tailored resume content. The service is provided for your personal, non-commercial use.

ResumeCore provides advisory suggestions only. We do not guarantee that using the service will result in a job interview, a job offer, or any specific outcome. AI output may contain errors and should be reviewed by you before use.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use ResumeCore. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Your Account

You may need to register an account to use the service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or breach these Terms.

4. Plans and Pricing

ResumeCore offers a Free tier and a Pro plan.

• The Free tier allows a limited, one-time use of the Resume Analyzer and JD Match tools and does not include PDF download.
• The Pro plan costs ₹299 per month and includes a higher monthly usage allowance, PDF downloads, and 90-day history.

The Free tier is not a time-limited trial — it is a permanently available plan with limited usage. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR).

5. Payment and Billing

Payments for the Pro plan are processed securely through Razorpay. By purchasing a subscription, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method. The Pro plan is billed for a one-month period of access. We may change our pricing in the future; any change will be communicated to you and will not affect a period you have already paid for.

6. Refunds and Cancellation

You may cancel your Pro plan at any time; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. We offer a limited 3-day refund window on your first Pro payment for cases where the service did not work as described. Full eligibility and exclusions are detailed in our Refund Policy.

7. No Employment Guarantee

ResumeCore provides AI-powered resume analysis and optimization tools intended to assist users in improving their resumes and job applications. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, employment, recruiter responses, or hiring outcomes. Subscription fees are charged solely for access to platform features and services.

8. Your Content

You retain ownership of the resumes, job descriptions, and other content you upload ("Your Content"). By uploading Your Content, you grant us a limited licence to process it solely for the purpose of providing the service to you — including sending it to our AI provider to generate analysis and tailored output.

You are responsible for ensuring Your Content is accurate and that you have the right to upload it. You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or contains malicious code.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to scrape, copy, reverse-engineer, or resell any part of the service.
• Use bots, scripts, or automated means to access the service.
• Attempt to bypass usage limits, security measures, or payment requirements.
• Upload viruses or malicious code, or interfere with the service's operation.
• Use the service to compete with us or build a competing product.
• Share, sell, or transfer your account to anyone else.

10. Intellectual Property

The ResumeCore platform, including its software, design, branding, and content (excluding Your Content), is owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service for its intended purpose. You may not use our name, logo, or content without our written permission.

11. Privacy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information. The service is operated from and hosted for users in India.

12. Service Availability and Changes

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any loss caused by service downtime or changes.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that harms us or other users. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

14. Disclaimer

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the AI output will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular job application. You use the service at your own risk and should exercise your own judgement.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ResumeCore and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost opportunities, lost profits, or loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ResumeCore and its team from any claim or demand arising out of your use of the service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Before pursuing formal action, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting each other.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
