Why I built ResumeCore

I'm Vaibhav Isloor, a CS graduate from PES University, Bengaluru. Like most Indian freshers, I applied to hundreds of roles and heard nothing back. I ran my resume through every free AI tool available — ChatGPT mainly and many others — and they all told me the same thing: "Great resume! Strong skills! Add some quantification."

I still got rejected.

The problem wasn't that I needed encouragement. It was that those tools were lying. They'd see "exposure to PyTorch" on my resume and tell me I had "strong ML skills." A recruiter would see through it in 10 seconds. The AI wouldn't.

ResumeCore is the tool I wish existed — one that tells you what a recruiter actually thinks. It flags the gap between what your resume claims and what you can back up. It gives you a real ATS score, not a flattering one. It tells you which roles you're genuinely competitive for in the Indian market, and which ones you're not yet ready for.
